After an engineer diploma in Fluid Mechanics at the University of Algiers (Algeria) followed by a PhD. In Fluid Mechanics (scientific computing) at the University of Marseille (France) and a Post-Doctoral fellow at the Naval Architect Society of Japan, I started working as an Oracle Consultant in France.
Since then, I have now over 14 years of Oracle experiences of which the last 5 years have been spent in tuning complex applications via AWR/Statspack reports, 10046 Trace files, tuning complex and crucial queries using real time SQL monitoring, row source execution plan, 10053 CBO trace files, SQL Plan Management ensuring stable execution times, intelligent statistics gathering, building efficient data models, designing very precise indexes, designing suitable archiving and purging strategies, auditing vulnerable applications, solving lock and deadlocks issues, partitioning adequately, showing what feature suits what situation, developing powerful and re-usable PL/SQL code, implementing Naming and Best Practices Standards, Writing excellent technical and functional documents, translating business requirements into technical requirements, presenting via conferences, oracle concepts like cursors sharing, bind variables, adaptive cursor sharing, SQL plan Managment, Gathering Statistics, Diagnosing Stale Statistics, etc..

I am an Oracle passionate. I love working with this database and this is why I am able to bring added value in any Oracle project.
I am tending during these recent months to transform my theoretical Exadata knowledge on a practical knowledge and to extend my tuning expertise to the Exadata machine.
